Are you interested in establishing a partnership with a Chinese university or institution but are unsure of how to begin or successfully manage it? Join us for the Chinese Cultural Workshop where our three speakers can offer insight into sustaining successful collaborations no matter what your discipline.

Joanna Kukielka-Blaser, program director for International Partnerships in the Office of International Affairs, will explain how to develop and implement new international partnerships including Memoranda of Agreements, Memoranda of Understanding, International Dual Degrees, International Cooperative Degrees and Student Exchanges.

Pat McAloon, co-founder of Sino-Connect and author of Studying in China: A Practical Handbook, will offer his knowledge on cultural perspectives, cultural differences and differing communications styles that may be useful when interacting with Chinese partners.

Cindy Zellefrow, assistant director for the Center for Transdisciplinary and Evidence-based Practice and assistant professor of Clinical Practice in the College of Nursing, will talk about the challenges, opportunities and lessons learned from the successful CTEP program in China.

A Q&A session will take place at the conclusion of the workshop.
