The Agricultural and Environmental Communications program explores English food, agricultural and environmental issues and how the British media communicated and educated the public about these issues.  Examples of issues explored in the past include, foot and mouth disease, organic and local food production and dairy cattle diseases. Students will explore how the approach of British media both differs and resembles U.S. media coverage. During the program students will travel from Edinburgh to London stopping various industry and field visits such as, Scottish and English communicators, livestock farms, agricultural universities and the American Embassy. Additionally, students will explore U.K. historical and cultural sites like Edinburgh Castle, St. Andrews, Stonehenge, the Tower of London and Kensington Palace.

Please RSVP for the information session.
