Ten Ohio State Students Selected as Gilman Scholars

safiyo mohamud 0214Ten Ohio State students have been awarded the prestigious Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship to study abroad or participate in an international internship program during summer term 2018.

More than 1,200 students from over 360 colleges and universities across the U.S. were awarded scholarships for summer term 2018. Gilman scholars receive up to $5,000 to apply towards their education abroad program costs with additional funding available for the study of a critical language.

The Gilman scholarship supports American undergraduate students of limited financial means to study or intern abroad.
