Andrew Capozzi at the World Health OrganizationAndrew Capozzi is a senior majoring in pharmaceutical sciences who studied abroad on the International Pharmacy Experience during Spring Break 2019.

"I had the amazing opportunity to join an exceptional group of 24 students in Switzerland through The Ohio State University’s International Pharmacy Experience. Our travels took us around the country from the cities of Zurich, Basel, and Geneva to the beautiful Stoos, Luzern, and Lausanne. Through this experience, my fellow students and I were able to visit a Swiss community pharmacy, tour the campus at the Novartis headquarters, engage with students and faculty at the University of Basel, and be ambassadors for Ohio State at the World Health Organization."

Visiting Invest São Paulo

Students, faculty and staff from the Fisher Honors Cohort Program were in Brazil December 11-21. The program consists of a diverse, tight knit group of 30 highly motivated, hand-picked students who seek to leverage educational opportunities across the entire university. The program spans the autumn and spring semesters of a student’s junior year and continues into their senior year.

Taste of OSU is an Ohio State signature event that provides an exciting evening of international cuisine, cultural exhibits and exciting performances that will be presented by 51 student organizations. Taste of OSU will take place on Friday, February 21 from 5-8:30 p.m. in the Ohio Union.

The event is free and open to the public and more than 4,000 people are expected to attend. To sample the array of international dishes prepared by the student organizations, attendees must purchase $1 tickets. Food tickets will be available for purchase with BuckIDs February 17-20 at the Office of International Affairs in Enarson Classroom Building and at the Ohio Union. On February 21, tickets will be available for purchase at the Ohio Union with cash or BuckID.

Each organization that will serve international foods, exhibit a cultural display or perform a dance or activity will incorporate the distinct flavors and characteristics of the countries their students represent.

A wide range of student organizations and university departments come together in support of Taste of OSU, including the Office of International Affairs, Student Life’s Dining Services and the Ohio Union.
