"Monks are seen making a sand Mandala that is rooted in Buddhist rituals and ceremonies. It is a very colorful and beautiful sand art that consists of geometric patterns with each aspect having deep symbolism and meaning. This activity is accompanied by singing, chanting and playing of musical instruments to arouse positive energy of the deity into the environment. For me, it was definitely a once in a lifetime, enriching experience."
