If you do not have a place to live in Columbus, you will want to reserve temporary housing before your arrival. On-Campus Temporary HousingStudents with Ohio State Housing Contracts:The University Housing office offers some temporary housing for international students with housing contracts. Temporary housing may be available ONLY if you sign a housing contract. The cost for temporary housing varies. Please note that you can purchase a linen package from University Housing. The linen package includes two sheets, pillowcase, pillow, blanket, towel, washcloth and bedspread. If you decide not to purchase a linen package, you must provide your own. The linen package is non-refundable and you do not return the items. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Students without Ohio State Housing Contracts: Temporary housing will not be available to students without housing contracts. Alternative temporary housing can be found in area hotels (see below), or through arrangements with your nationality club (see below). Off-Campus Temporary HousingInternational Affairs cannot help students find permanent off-campus housing, nor can we co-sign on leases. Please visit Neighborhood Services and Collaboration (NSC) for permanent off-campus housing options, or call (614) 292-0100. Neighborhood Services and Collaboration offers a wealth of information about off-campus housing. Local Hotels and Motels (contact them directly)If you were unable to obtain on-campus housing, you will need to find a hotel room. You may wish to find a hotel near the airport if you are arriving at night.
