English Conversation Program Seeks Students

Through the English Conversation Partners (ECP) program, the Office of International Affairs matches American students with international students who are interested in learning more about American culture and the English language. The program enables international students to practice English communication skills and become better acquainted with U.S. culture, and domestic students have the chance to share their linguistic and cultural knowledge, and learn more about another country. The deadline for students to apply for the program is Wednesday, September 17. Learn more about the ECP program and sign up today.

 
International Experiences Enchance Education

E. Gordon Gee Ohio State offers more than 100 study abroad programs in 40 different countries, and close to 20 percent of undergraduates have a study abroad experience before they graduate. In the January issue of Currents, a monthly magazine published by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, an article by President E. Gordon Gee takes a look at why an international experience should be "an essential element of every student's education."
