Now that you have been abroad, your interests may have changed and your perspective on life broadened. You may be looking for a way to share your international experiences with others or seek more friends who are knowledgeable about other cultures. There are many opportunities at Ohio State for you to get involved and continue your international education:

• Participate in orientations for other students who will be going to the country you have visited; study abroad coordinators are always interested in having past participants share their experiences at orientations, Getting Started sessions, in the residence halls or at other study abroad events
• Live in the International House learning community at Ohio State
• Subscribe to a newspaper from your host country
• Consider how you can use what you have learned abroad in your academic studies or career—talk to your study abroad coordinator, academic advisor or Career Services about your interests and what options might be available to you
• Become an English conversation partner

The English Conversation Partners (ECP) program matches American students with international students who are interested in learning more about the English language and culture in the United States. • Join an international or ethnic student organization on campus

Ohio State has more than 100 registered ethnic or cultural student organizations on campus, as well as several clubs dedicated to world issues and international studies. Joining one of these organizations can help you learn more about a specific nationality, meet new friends and stay immersed in a particular culture through various events and programming.

• Attend or volunteer at some of the many internationally focused events sponsored on campus
