Mhaisalkar honored with 2012 Professional Achievement Alumni Award

Subodh MhaisalkarThe Ohio State Alumni Awards are given annually to those alumni who have brought extraordinary credit to the university. International alumnus Subodh Mhaisalkar, winner of the 2012 Professional Achievement Award, has been honored for his significant career in the field of sustainable energy research.

Originally from India, Mhaisalkar earned his bachelor's degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, and both his master's and PhD from Ohio State. He is currently the executive director of the Energy Research Institute at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, as well as a professor in the university's School of Materials Science. Previously, Mhaisalkar has served the institution as director of both the Advanced Materials Research Centre for Materials Science and Engineering and the Nanotechnology Cluster.
