The Office of International Affairs is seeking nominations for Phi Beta Delta, an honor society dedicated to recognizing scholarly achievement in international education. International Affairs serves as the campus representative for Phi Beta Delta, which has inducted more than 600 Ohio State students, faculty and staff into the honor society since its inception in 1987. The honor society recognizes the achievements of international students and scholars, those who have studied abroad and faculty and staff who are involved in international activities. The nomination criteria for the Alpha Epsilon Chapter of Phi Beta Delta at The Ohio State University is as follows:

All applications should be sent to: Megan Lawther Phi Beta Delta is the first honor society in the United States dedicated to recognizing individuals who have demonstrated scholarly achievement in the area of international education and exchange. Currently, the Society has chapters at 160 colleges and universities and its membership includes distinguished faculty and staff, international students, and U.S. students. All members have demonstrated excellence in their academic area, an interest in international affairs, and a desire to promote cross-cultural understanding. |
