Picking The Right Program |
|
|
How do I know which program is right for me? Questions to consider when narrowing your options: - Is there a geographical location I have always wanted to visit, or prefer not to visit?
- Do I want to take classes in my major or GECs?
- Do I have a language sequence to fulfill?
- What time of the year would I like to go and for how long?
- What is the language of instruction?
- Which program best fits my budget?
- Will this be my first international travel experience?
- Do I want to study with a group of Americans, or would I prefer a more independent experience (Exchange Program)?
- Do I want to live in student housing or with a host family (home stay)?
- What are my interests, hobbies, passions?
- What do I really want to get out of this experience (i.e. language skill, cross-cultural experience, adventure, new perspective on potential career, resume builder, etc)?
- Would I like to do additional travel before or after my program?
- When do I plan to graduate?
There are plenty of options that might fit your needs and desires. Come speak with us in Oxley Hall Monday through Friday, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
