$1 Million Gift Doubles Endowment to Support Study Abroad Scholarships

Gordon Gee and John Wolfe An amazing moment occurred at the ninth annual Wolfe Study Abroad Recognition Luncheon on May 1. John F. Wolfe, president and CEO of The Dispatch Printing Company, presented a $1 million gift to Ohio State to supplement the Wolfe Study Abroad Scholarships program.

Building Bridges and Communities - Preparing our Children for a Global Future
Harambee student identifieds African nation Fifteen third grade students visited The Ohio State University on Earth Day, April 22, to learn about international trade, global health, study abroad and sustainable development. Through this partnership with OSU's P-12 Project, the Harambee Christian School students explored social studies issues through numerous educational activities created by university staff and student experts.

International Careers Week at OSU
Interested in working overseas? Studying a foreign language but don’t know how it can help you get a job? Not sure what you want to do? Learn more about these opportunities during International Careers Week May 12-16 in Hagerty and Postle Halls. There will be discussion groups geared toward international careers, recruiters from the CIA and a roundtable discussion of professionals who will share stories about using their foreign language skills every day.
